Of course! We offer a free consultation, providing you the opportunity to meet your sitter before your service commences.

After we have finalized all your and your pet’s requirements, we will connect you with your designated pet sitter. They will arrange a first free consultation with you, and if you are content with their service, they will start visiting for the agreed period. Throughout this period, you will receive regular updates via messages, photos, and videos, using your preferred mode of communication.

It is our policy to bill for services before they commence. We require full payment before confirming a booking. For recurring services, we will send a weekly invoice.

Payment options are included in your invoice as follows:

1. PayPal: If you prefer to pay via PayPal, transaction fees of 3.6% plus £0.30 will apply. However, you can avoid PayPal fees by selecting ‘Pay a Friend’ when processing your payment.

2. Direct Payment: If you prefer to pay directly into Your London Pet Sitter bank account. Bank account details are provided within the invoice.

Yes, we do have cancellation charges. These vary depending on if a bank holiday is included within your booking or not. Please find these below:


If cancelled within 48h of Booking – 75% of the Booking Total

If cancelled within 4 days of Booking – 50% of the Booking Total



If cancelled within 5 days of Booking – 75% of the Booking Total

If cancelled within 10 days of Booking – 50% of the Booking Total

At Your London Pet Sitter, we offer a premier dog walking service; we believe in providing individualised attention to each dog. That’s why we don’t offer group walks, as they might compromise the safety and attention your furry friend deserves. We’ll walk a maximum of three dogs from the same household only if it’s safe to do so.

We absolutely cherish the pets entrusted to us, and their safety is our topmost priority. To ensure their safety, we prefer to walk dogs on a lead at all times. But if your furry friend loves to explore more freely, don’t worry! You can provide a flexi-lead, and we’ll be more than happy to use it to give your furry buddy some extra space and leg stretch.

Your London Pet Sitter Ltd and its Sitters have the appropriate insurance coverage.

Our sitters are fully insured, trained, referenced, and DBS vetted.

Microchipping is very important for your furry friends. It’s a legal requirement for dogs and will soon be mandatory for cats too, starting from June 2024.

If there is an emergency situation concerning your pet, we are here to assist. Our first priority is to contact the veterinarian that you have listed in your pet information form. If we are unable to reach them, we will connect with a trustworthy mobile veterinary service that we have access to, CTvets. You can find more information about this service at

We are always happy to help with last-minute bookings. However, bookings requested with 72hrs or less notice will incur an additional fee.

Of course, we are always available to help. In the event pet food or other supplies have run out, Your London Pet Sitter Ltd will happily replenish any food/supplies. We will then bill the client for reimbursement accordingly; a service fee will be applicable.
