Cats & Plants is the debut book from Chicago-based artist Stephen Eichhorn.

The 152-page book includes more than 200 rich color images of the artist’s curious cat collages,
and features felines balancing plants (and sometimes shells or minerals) on their furry heads.
There are Calicos and cactuses, Siamese and succulents, and so much more.

In conjunction with the book, Zioxla has also released a limited-edition print.

Sophie Gamand has been photographing dogs since 2010, in an attempt to better understand humans.

For her first book, she gathered over 120 portraits of wet dogs captured at bath time. Every dog owner knows too well the fun and misery of bath time: the wriggles, the poignant looks, the playful splashes. Photographing dogs at such a vulnerable time allows her to capture the vast range of expressions they can display. Dogs hold a mirror up to our humanity, and she wonders what it says about us. These priceless, touching expressions are a testimony to the close and unique bond we have developed with our canine companions.
