Andréanne Lupien is a 23 years old photographer, also known as Lupy. She lives in Montreal, Quebec and she believes in fairy tales, happy endings, magic and cats.
Lupy says “I wanted to make a series of photos, but I didn’t know about what. I thought about it for a moment until I found an old self-portrait (with my cat) that I made a few years ago. I had fun taking pictures of myself with my cat, putting it around me in the room so that the final picture would result in my cat being multiple times in the photography doing multiple actions. That was it! This was going to be my subject: Cat lovers and their cats.”
We can see that the phenomenon of ”Cat lovers” gets bigger everyday and cats are becoming more and more popular. Cat videos, pictures of cats, t-shirts with cats, coffee shop for cats.
Lupy took the opportunity to fully talk about it. It took her a little more than a year to complete the project.
